My art is inspired by outdoor experiences that are full of discovery, ranging from traces of human and animal movement in the snow, to expansive mountain views and close observations of trees that reveal their interactions with surrounding forest life.

I intend to create a ‘captured moment’ that honors the resilience, character and ecological relationships within the natural environments I explore. I also tell the story of our own impact and time spent in the landscape.
